I often observe that management in mechanical engineering places great emphasis on the product—how it improves efficiency and ease of use for the customer. However, they pay far less attention to whether internal work routines meet the needs of their staff. The result is often unnecessarily expensive and time-consuming development projects. I’m impressed that you are addressing this issue.
Thank you Uwe and you're totally right. In my experience it's also been the case that internal workflows have been inefficient, even with better software tools. The human is still inefficient and in such 'advanced' industries it's a shame. It hits close to home for me so it's more like a vision / mission of mine to improve them at scale. Thanks for the support!
